Who's behind Creature Crates?
Based in Texas, we buy our materials and keep our production here in the United States as well. While we work with several talented local artists, below is a short bio on the main creators and contributors to Creature Crates.
Founder and Director of Production - Scott Wheelis
Involved in all aspects of production, not a mask or prop leaves our shop without his
touch. Scott has been creating artwork in various mediums for over 20 years, constantly
expanding his horizons, from drawings to digital art to sculptures and special effects.
In addition to being the driving force behind Creature Crates, Scott has done special effects
for locally produced movies, as well as run his own haunt this past year - The Haunted Egyptian Temple of Anubis.
Production Associate - Eric Kellner
A seasoned veteren of the haunt industry, Eric has worked with various haunted
houses over several years. He has been an invaluable resource regarding product
lines and assisting with production.
Production Associate - Ethan Guerre
A fine artist in his own right, Ethan has previous experience in drawings, painting,
and sculpture; as well as 4 years experience with haunted houses.
Production Associate - Glen Pruitt
Involved in the haunt industry for several years, Glen helped develop our entertainment stilts and was an
important figure at both the Transworld and HauntCon conventions in 2005. We mourn his passing due to health issues July 19, 2005.
